POSITION TITLE: Adjunct Faculty for Graduate Studies Programs – Bethany Campus
POSITION: Southwestern Christian University seeks adjunct faculty who will teach in the Master of Ministry and Master of Art in Theological Studies programs. Courses consist of any combination of Systematic Theology, Biblical Literature, and Church History. Some travel as well as weekend work may be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Adjunct faculty participate in and provide academic leadership in teaching, research, and Christian service. Graduate adjunct faculty also contribute to the university's commitment to faculty governance and serve as mentors is student research and publication. Additional responsibilities include:
· Teaching load that is based on the established faculty workload scale
· Preparation of teaching material
· Faculty portal maintenance of timely and accurate records
· Providing constructive feedback and assistance to staff and students
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. with research and teaching experience in Old Testament Literature, New Testament Literature, Systematic Theology or Practical Theology; record of significant accomplishments in research; committed Christian who honors Pentecostalism and the Holiness tradition and who is supportive of the educational mission of the University and its heritage; demonstrated experience in graduate education, as well as familiarity with the accreditation process. The successful candidate will be an innovative person with the personnel management skill to build a shared vision that includes sensitivity to and competence with individuals of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Salary is based upon the established faculty salary schedule.
