Any 1000 or 2000 level course with 5 or less students enrolled will be considered for cancellation from the schedule before the beginning of semester classes. If a course is canceled, students can apply to request a Directed Study. This application will be considered by the Chair and Academic Dean based on the following:
1. The student's graduation date would be delay unless a directed study is arranged, and
2. The student's potential delay is not the fault of the university.
For 3000 or 4000 level major courses that are required for graduation, 3 or 4 students will be the threshold for the decision to cancel the course. These will be decided by the Chair and Dean of the program and school.
