As the University’s first Provost, Dr. Wenyika is eager to take on the new challenge. “As Provost, I see myself as the servant of servants,” said Dr. Wenyika. “The office calls for one to be at the forefront of modeling servant leadership. As the chief academic officer, the quest to raise the level of intellectual discourse and tone across the campus continues. We have set high standards and aspirations for ourselves. Through the collaborative efforts of the entire university community and constituencies, our vision of becoming ‘a world-class university of excellence’ is achievable. Exciting times are ahead and I am truly humbled at this opportunity to serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, and the SCU family.”
