Daniel Dressler, left, receives the Southwestern Christian University Eagle-of-the-Month award from SGA Officers Meredith Light and Kyle Mickleburgh
Members of the Southwestern Christian University Student Government Association presented the organization’s August Eagle-of-the-Month certification to Daniel Dressler, Director of Information Technology at SCU during Chapel Thursday.
Dressler was chosen from nine other nominees of SCU staff and faculty members who best represent the university’s motto of Scholarship, Spirit and Service. The SGA makes the final selection of the nominees presented.
In the ceremony, Dressler was praised as a person whose outstanding commitment to increasing efficiency on our campus has led to much improved IT systems and technological advancements. He has put in countless hours of hard work, sweat and frustration to deliver much needed change.
Dressler joined the SCU team in April after working 19 years as a Senior Network Administrator for McAfee and Taft, a law firm in Oklahoma City.
Dressler was awarded a gift card, a certificate and a much-coveted reserved parking spot for the following month.
