Attending a private university
can be very expensive. However, at Southwestern Christian University, we strive
to make the cost of attendance as affordable as possible. SCU is still one of
the least expensive accredited private universities in Oklahoma. Click on a link

DISCOUNTS:
Southwestern Christian University offers two discounts for
its students.
Students qualifying for the Professional Ministry Major
Housing Discount may receive up to a $1,000 discount off of Room and Board
charges. Requirements for this discount include: declaring a ministry major,
full-time enrollment, campus residence, local church involvement, and a
cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better. A change in any of these requirements may
affect a student's eligibility for the discount.

Students qualifying for the Student Referral Discount may
receive up to a $500 discount off of tuition and up to $250 off of Room and
Board. Requirements for this discount include: recipient's name must be listed
on the new student's admissions application as the "primary factor" for
attending SCU, and both students must be enrolled full-time. Higher discounts
are awarded when the referred student was not previously in SCU's admissions
database and/or if the referred student moves onto campus. A change in any of
these requirements may affect the recipient's eligibility for the discount(s).

Students who wish to request these discounts must sign an
agreement form, acknowledging that (1) failure to maintain criteria set forth by
the University may result in loss of the discounts and that (2) the discount may
affect the financial aid award package of a student, either positively or
negatively.
Agreement forms must be approved by various departments
before they can be applied to student accounts. New forms must be completed for
each semester. Please complete and return the agreement forms as soon as
possible.
