Dr. Reggies Wenyika, president of Southwestern Christian University, will be the first chapel speaker for Spring 2015 semester. He will address students, faculty, staff and coaches on Tuesday, January 13 at 10:50 a.m. Service will be held in the Minchew Auditorium, SCU campus. The public is invited to attend.
Wenyika is in his first year as president at SCU. Under his leadership, the university is making rapid strides in sustaining its enrollment growth, increased academic and athletic competitiveness, and greater fiscal strength by attracting innovative and diverse revenue streams. SCU recently received national recognition from U.S. News and World Report ranking it among the top regional colleges in the West.
During his leadership, Wenyika has voiced the mantra “Soar High and Beyond” challenging students, faculty, staff, parents and external constituents of SCU to push past their preconceived limits and test themselves in ways that will accelerate the breadth, width and depth of the university’s reach in impacting the world for Jesus Christ.
Classes begin Monday, January 12. Students may still enroll by contacting the Office of Admissions at 405-789-7661 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
