The Southwestern Christian University Psychology Club held its annual monthly meeting on Thursday, Nov. 20.
At the meeting the club discussed the goals and mission purpose of the organization. The club planned special activities for the upcoming year while learning about important topics in psychology, and meeting faculty and students in the department.
Additional discussion was held about eventually transforming the club into a Sidecar I organization which is an honor society for the psychology degree program.
Student officers elected were Austin Ortega as president and Faith Mincher as secretary.
Club Advisor Dr. Rebecca Webster said the club meets monthly on the firstWednesdayof each month at 3 p.m.. Anyone interested in psychology is welcome to be a member of the charter club. Cost is $25 which includes an official club T-shirt.
