Southwestern Christian University is happy to announce that, among several other big-time transformations happening around campus, students will now see a change in their food this fall. Pioneer College Caterers will now be serving food on campus in a newly remodeled serving area inside the Patrick Cafetorium.
All meals, included in the students’ room/board plans, will feature an all-you-can-eat menu. For commuter students that did not purchase a room/board plan and for all other guests wishing to dine at SCU, there will be a per-meal charge that can be paid on site. There will also be extended dining hours and sack lunches available for boarding students who work off campus and are not able to make it during those hours. Special diets will be available if it is required by a physician.
A Food Service Committee comprised of students, faculty and staff will work with Pioneer Food Caterers to provide input and student feedback. The Food Service Committee will also be responsible for inspecting the cafeteria and kitchen equipment and facilities at regular intervals to assist in maintaining the highest quality service possible.

Meal Costs (for non-boarding students and guests):
Adult - $3.50
Child (12 and under) - $1.75
Adult - $5.00
Child - $2.50
Adult - $5.50 (Premium Dinner night, $6.50)
Child - $2.75 ($3.25)
There will be 10% discount for non-boarding students through Flex-dollar card purchase ($10 card buys $11 worth of food)
