SCU Opens On-Campus Bookstore
The campus of Southwestern Christian University is happy to announce the opening of an on-campus bookstore in the 2011 Fall Semester.
Located in the former Patrick Dining Room in the Patrick Cafeteria Building, students can expect to see more than books in the new bookstore, as it will come fully stocked with other conveniences for boarding students and commuters as well as staff and faculty. The store will shelve new and used books as well as SCU screen-printed apparel, window decals, ball caps, water bottles, latte mugs, soft drinks, snacks, a microwave, coffee, school supplies, greeting cards, gift bags, and toiletries. The apparel will include items for every season in numerous sizes, including youth and toddlers.
Store hours are set for Monday through Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The store will stay open until 3 p.m. on weekdays during the “Week of Welcome,” which begins Wednesday August 17 and lasts until August 21.
