BETHANY – Southwestern Christian University will be celebrating its diverse student body on campus Thursday, Oct. 23 with its popular Cultural Dinner at 5 p.m. in the North Dorm Conference Center.
The annual event, started over 20 years ago, is co-hosted by the Student Government Association and the Department of Behavioral Science. The event is free to all students, faculty and staff as well as the general public.
SCU has students from 35 different countries. Many of them will be bringing a dish that reflects their cultural background. All dishes will be labeled and will indicate which country it is from.
Dinner will be presented, hors d’oeuvre style, in celebration of each unique culture. This change was made in order to simplify the serving and sampling process, compared to previous years
