The Southwestern Christian University campus was bustling with excitement last weekend (Nov. 11th-13th) as high school students were brought in from all over the United States to get a taste of college life at SCU during Fall Preview.
A total of 58 high school students packed the SCU dorms for this year’s Fall Preview, with some traveling from as far as North Carolina. The Admissions Department at SCU, in conjunction with SCU’s Alumni and Friend’s Weekend, prepared a number of different activities for the high school students to participate in including a car bash, chapel services, classes, a bonfire, and an evening worship service. The students were even able to witness the Southwestern Christian University men’s and women’s basketball teams demolish the Ozark Christian College Ambassadors at the Pickens-Springer Gymnasium on Friday evening.
Southwestern Christian University now looks to prepare for Spring Preview 2011 which will be held February 11th and 12th. For more information, please contact the SCU Admissions Office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
