Several prospective Southwestern Christian University students came to campus to learn more about the school through a series of instructions and events designed for both entertainment and fun.
“We are really pleased with the outcome,” Rita Palmer, the new SCU Admissions Director, said. “We wanted to show what SCU has to offer them in their future.”
Registration began in the Conference Center where students began their day exploring information about the library, intramurals, dormitories, financial aid, and visiting with representatives from the different degree programs offered at the college.
Students along with their parents were able to meet and talk with current students and professors and receive answers to any questions they had on degree requirements and campus activities.
After visiting the registration area, they attended a class of their choice in either Missions/Evangelism/Theology, Education, Music or Business.
Following the classroom visits, students were directed to the Minchew Auditorium where they were warmly welcomed by those in attendance. The guests were also able to enjoy a time of praise and worship with several of the school’s talented musical groups including the Praise and Worship Band.
Guests enjoyed a time of lunch and fellowship before leaving for a fun afternoon of entertainment at Elevation Trampoline Park in Edmond.
