All spouses and dependent children, as defined by the IRS*, of full-time faculty members
are eligible for tuition assistance up to 100% of tuition and fees based on the following
First year of employment: 50%
Second year after employment date: 100%
Scholarships may not be applied to the cost of books, private lessons, graduation fees or
room and board.
*Dependent status is defined by Federal Financial Aid guidelines as set forth by the U.S.
Department of Education (i.e. until January 1st after the 23rd birthday)
Government student aid grants must be utilized before University assistance will be
applied to the tuition/fees balance of the dependent/spouse.
