"We create, for we serve the Divine Artist, the Lord our Father."
Vintage Ink Writing Club is for SCU students and faculty who enjoy writing creative works such as poetry, novels, songs, and more. The club gives everyone an opportunity to share their works, as well as having it critiqued. The club also discusses topics such how to write, publish, etc. It's a community of friends who just like to talk about writing, and it's a place where no judgement is allowed. Members can write anything they want, and joining is free! Vintage Ink meets every Tuesday from 6pm-7pm in the President's dining room next to the cafeteria.
Vintage Ink has hosted Bad Karaoke Night and Poetry Night. More events will be available for the SP16 semester.
Southwestern Christian University has what is called the "Scribblings, the SCU Creative Anthology", which is a literary magazine showcasing student works in literature, photography, and illustrations. It is updated electronically every semester. The magazine is created and run by students through the support of the Vintage Ink Writing Club. Every electronic issue is free to read online. To submit creative works, whether written, photographed or illustrated, email the club at firstname.lastname@example.org.
**Important, Vintage Ink has not started taking submissions for the SP16 issue**
The pdf of SP15's literary anthology is open for reading online. Click here! Volume 2--FA15 is also available here.
