75th Anniversary
Southwestern Christian University is celebrating our 75th Anniversary as an institution this year! Join us this fall for our Homecoming and Alumni weekend as we celebrate this huge milestone in our school's history!

Friday, November 5th:
Event: ABLE / Flex 25th Reunion Reception
Time: 4:00 - 6:00pm
Description: Anyone who has been in the adult studies program over the years is invited to the 25th Reunion Reception with light refreshments in the Poteet Conference Center.
Event: Take Me Back
Time: 7:30 - 8:30pm

Description: Take Me Back is a panel made up of former SCU presidents discussing the early days of the university, the church during those times, the Holiness Movement, the Jesus Movement, and more.
Event: Reception
Time: 8:30 - 9:30pm
Description: A reception will be held following Take Me Back. Food and drink will be provided during this time.
Saturday, November 6th:
Event: Singin' Thru the Years
Time: 10:00 - 11:30am
Description: Singin' Thru the Years is a musical production that will explore songs through the decades with musical specials and songs spanning from the 1940's-2000's.
Event: Lunch
Time: 12:00 - 1:00pm
Description: Lunch will be provided to all guests courtesy of SCU.
Event: Women's Basketball Game / Men's Basketball Game
Time: 1:00pm / 3:00pm
Description: Join us in cheering on the SCU Men and Women's basketball teams in our Homecoming basketball games!
Event: Vision 4 Education
Time: 6:30pm

Description: Vision 4 Education, an annual event, is a special time for each of our denominational colleges to receive funds raised by IPHC women throughout the year. This effort provides scholarships for students and resources for IPHC institutions.
Sunday, November 7th:
Event: Compassion Church 75th Anniversary Celebration
Time: Service at 11am, Refreshments before the 10am service
Location: Compassion Church, 6901 NW 150th St Oklahoma City, OK 73142
Description: Compassion Church is celebrating their 75th Anniversary this year! The church started across from the SCU campus and took on the name Southwestern Pentecostal Holiness, then later was called Muse Memorial, then River of Life and now Compassion Church Oklahoma City. Students, faculty, staff and alumni are all invited to celebrate this huge milestone!
Dress:
We're going casual this year! We encourage all faculty, staff, students, alumni and guests to come dressed in their SCU gear.
This includes Vision 4 Education! Come in your SCU colors or school t-shirts!
COVID Regulations:
We strongly encourage all attendees to wear a mask and practice social distancing during the Homecoming celebrations.
