US News Rankings 2021

SCU ranked among top 5 Campus Ethnic Diversity in "Best College" guide for Colleges in the West.

 
Southwestern Christian University is ranked #5 in Campus Ethnic Diversity and #22 top performer in Social Mobility for the West Colleges, according to the 2021 rankings in the annual U.S. News & World Report “Best Colleges” guide.
“Southwestern Christian University endeavors daily to serve Christendom and our national and international student body,” said President Tom Murray. “The standards are high and SCU is honored to be selected by U.S. News & World Report as a highly positioned institution of higher education in five areas.”
U.S. News & World Report assessed this year’s Best College rankings by looking at 17 academic quality indications, including graduate and retention rates; social mobility; graduation rate; academic quality assessments by peer institution presidents, provosts, and deans; faculty resources; financial resources per student; student excellence and alumni giving.
The Best College Region West reviewed 102 universities and colleges in 13 states including Oklahoma, Texas and all states to the west. There are eight Oklahoma schools listed in the top 33, including Oral Roberts University and Oklahoma Baptist University.
