What are my next steps to officially become a STUDENT and
BE READY for the first day of class?
NEW STUDENTS
Step 1 - Schedule your Enrollment with the Office of Admissions for New Students and your advisors for Returning Students! Call us (405) 789-7661.
Step 2 - Once enrolled, submit the following registration documents using these forms down below (all documents must be completed annually unless noted for "New Students Only"). Registration can be done in person on these days, any day that we are open, or over the phone.
- Registration Intake Form (Please have the following documents prepared to upload in pdf or photo format before starting this form)
- Proof of Health Insurance
- Proof of Vehicle Insurance
- Immunization Records (New Students Only)
- Meningococcal Shot Waiver Form - Only needed if your shot records do not show proof of the Meningococcal Vaccination in the last 5 years. (First-time SCU Students only)
- Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) - FERPA Privacy Release Form (First-time SCU Students only or if updates need to be made)
- Lifestyle Covenant - This must be completed every year by every student.
- Drug Testing Consent Form - This must be completed every year by every student.
Step 3 - Financial Aid Clearance
- Complete the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid - SCU School Code 003180
- Complete and submit any internal scholarships in which you qualify.
- Please submit any external scholarship information to finaid@swcu.edu
- If you receive any VA benefits, please contact our SCO, ashlynn.haylett@swcu.edu, or (405) 789-7661, ext. 2238.
- If you are taking out federal student loans, complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Entrance Counseling.
Step 4 - Business Office/Billing Clearance
- SCU Student Financial Responsibility Agreement
- Southwestern Christian University Payment Plan
- Make First Payment or Payment Arrangement (By Friday, August 2nd or your enrollment will be dropped.)
Step 5 - New Student Orientation
- Check HERE for Updated Dates and Information
CONGRATULATIONS YOU ARE REGISTERED!
ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT ITEMS:
- Housing Application -OR- Off-Campus Housing Request Form
- Pay $100 Housing Reservation Fee (IF APPLICABLE)
- Key for Housing (Will be available after first payment is made on move-in day)
- Get a Student I.D. from the Housing Office (given on final registration days)

RETURNING STUDENTS
