Funding your college education can be a challenge at times. The goal of the SCU Financial Aid Office is to simplify this process by giving you the tools you need and providing you with the options that may be available from Federal Financial Aid, Institutional Scholarships, and other grants that can assist you in making SCU your school of choice!
Please choose from the navigation links on the left the program of study you will be enrolled in. This will help guide you through the financial aid process.
If you have any questions, comments, or concerns throughout the financial aid process, the SCU Financial Aid Office is available to assist you Monday through Friday, 8:00- 6:00. There are also times that the SCU Financial Aid office will provide FREE Financial Aid seminars on campus. Please check out our Twitter feed and Facebook page for updates!

Kellye Johnson: Director of Financial Aid
Kellye Johnson is a Kansas native but currently resides in Oklahoma. She is a graduate of Langston University where she obtained a BA in Sociology. She then earned her MBA with emphasis in Accounting from the University of Phoenix.
Kellye Johnson is currently the Director of Financial Aid for Southwestern Christian University, but has worked at three different institutions in Financial Aid positions. When she’s not processing financial aid, Kellye enjoys reading, writing and a good laugh! She also enjoys playing games and Diner Dash and Cooking Dash are two of her addictions. Kellye loves a good practical joke but don’t surprise her with any deceased gold fish or spiders!
Tammy Finley: Financial Aid Counselor for Adult & Online and Graduate Studies
Tammy Finley has worked at SCU since July 2015 as a Financial Aid Work Study and was promoted to Financial Aid Counselor in November of 2016! She is the embodiment of hard work paying off! She is currently working on her Bachelors Degree in Business Leadership in the Adult Studies Program at SCU. She is a proud mother and grandmother and is proud to serve on her prayer team at church most mornings. She feels truly blessed to be a part of our team and to serve students.
Yvonne Mayes: Financial Aid Counselor for Traditional Students

Yvonne Mayes has worked at SWCU since March 2013 as the Financial Aid Counselor for traditional students. Prior to coming to SCU, she worked as a waitress/hourly manager at an Oklahoma City restaurant, provided care for children as a Master Teacher, and worked in the University of Central Oklahoma's Informational Technology Department.
She received her Bachelor of Art’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and is currently working towards her Master's of Education in Adult & Higher Education.
Yvonne Mayes is a native to Oklahoma, currently residing in her hometown of Midwest City. Yvonne and her husband of 4 years currently live in Midwest City with their two sons: Jeremiah and Elijah.
Jeff Dittenber: Financial Aid Counselor for Traditional Students
Alphabetical Letters: M-Z
Jeffery Dittenber was born in Simi Valley, CA and moved with his family to Oklahoma shortly thereafter. Growing up in Oklahoma, he was involved in athletics, music and loved reading. He was also involved with hunting and fishing with his family, some of whom were farmers. After completing his secondary education; Jeffery worked in several fields including the legal field, fitness and education.
Jeffery earned an Associates of Arts degree at Oklahoma City Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics degree at the University of Oklahoma. While at OU, Jeffery accumulated thousands of hours tutoring students in undergraduate mathematics courses as well as teaching Calculus and Pre-Calculus to high school students in the Upward Bound Program. He loves helping people solve their problems. In his spare time, Jeffery enjoys learning new things and taking free courses online. He loves reading, studying programming, math, philosophy and history. He loves camping and hiking. His main focus is trying get closer to God and being of service to others who are seeking to do the same.
